Babl ("we", "us", "our") provides real-time, two-way voice translation that lets users speak in their own voice across languages. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how we use it when you use our app or services (the "Service").
Your voice samples and cloned voice profiles are used solely to produce translated speech in your voice. We do not sell your voice data. You may delete your voice profile at any time, which removes the associated sample and clone from active use.
We share data only with service providers that help operate the Service — for example payment processing, speech-to-text, translation, and text-to-speech providers acting under our instructions. These providers process data only to deliver the requested feature and under their own confidentiality obligations. We never sell your personal data.
We keep account and voice data for as long as your account is active. Session content is retained only as long as needed to provide the Service and improve quality, unless retention is required by law. You can request deletion at any time.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encrypted transmission and access controls. No method of transmission is fully secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute protection.
The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has provided data, contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated version here and, where appropriate, in-app.
Questions about this policy or your data can be sent to contact@babl.social.
